Here at Ravenpaws, we specialise in helping owners to train their dogs to assist them in public, to help alleviate the difficult and sometimes socially crippling symptoms of Autism, Epilepsy and other diagnosed disabilities.
We are partnered with Pawsable, who are not a charity - they are a commercial training provider. You can owner-train your assistance dog without being a member of or affiliated to any organisation. We are here to support and guide you on your training journey if that is what you are looking for.
Pawsable support families in many ways and ensure that their standards are high; service providers can trust in the organisation so that families have truly open access to all types of services.

We have used our many years of experience of handling dogs to specifically train calm and focussed behaviour and excellent handling skills, for a solid and trustworthy partnership when out and about in public.
We will also work on key skills within the home environment to assist with any challenges you face. This can include teaching the dog to apply pressure on the body when experiencing a seizure to bring the person around quicker, or similarly to apply pressure to the body during a panic attack to help the person feel more relaxed and grounded, to open cupboard doors and close them, to fetch medicine containers, or perhaps to go and get help if the person has collapsed.
We will work with you as an integral part of your affiliation with Pawsable on an ongoing basis throughout your partnership, to make sure your dog handling and your dog's skills remain appropriate to their job.
We specialise in Autism, Epilepsy, PTSD and Anxiety, however we are happy and willing to consider different types of assistance dogs on a case by case basis, but we must feel confident that we will be able to help you in the long-term with the right support and expertise before we proceed.
If you'd like to know more about training your dog to become an assistance dog, please contact us - we'd be more than happy to help!
