Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at jo@ravenpaws.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Please send us an enquiry form in Contact Us. We will contact you to discuss your training requirements and arrange a mutually convenient day/time for training.

Absolutely! The more the merrier - the more people who get involved with the training the better for your dog or puppy. If the children are very young, we do ask you to consider bringing a second adult to assist, however. We are also fully DBS checked for your peace of mind.

Group classes are suitable for any puppy / dog that is comfortable in the presence of other people or dogs. If your dog or puppy is particularly nervous, we recommend booking a 121 instead.

We only use force-free, positive reinforcement. These are science based and modern techniques, learnt from the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) and are the most kind and effective training methods.

We ask that any dog who has been sick or had diarrhoea in the last 48 hours does not attend our classes. We still encourage you (the human!) to attend on your own though, so you don't miss out on anything learnt that week.

Subject to availability, you may be able to transfer your booking, however course fees are non-refundable. We will do our best to move your course, however.

The venues vary, upon booking you will be told of the location - however it will be within a 10 mile radius to Cheddington.

In your confirmation email you will receive instructions on what to bring / wear etc. But you will need a back fitting harness and a fixed lead (no retractable leads please!), extra yummy treats (we also sell these on site in case you run out) and poo bags. You may also need to wear a waterproof coat in case in rains!

We accept entire males, however if your bitch has just come into season we would kindly ask that you leave her at home. We still encourage you (the human!) to attend on your own though, so you don't miss out on anything learnt that week.

Generally, if it's a bit of rain the class will still go ahead - just bring a warm coat! However if it is very hot, or we deem it unsafe for whatever reason (thunderstorms, snow etc.) then the class will be delivered via zoom remotely.
